One Year Warranty - Satisfaction Guaranteed For The Birds, Inc. warrants the iFlyer BirdSong Scanning Wand to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. Complete the registration form below and it will be sent to For The Birds. If service is required by reason of any malfunction or defect during the warranty period, For The Birds will repair or replace it, at its discretion, with proof of purchase*, without cost (except for a $7 charge for packing and return shipping). Common problems are caused by weak batteries, so before returning this product for service, try replacing the batteries with a fresh set. If service is still required: 1. Remove the batteries and pack the iFlyer in a well padded envelope. 2.Enclose a photocopy of your sales receipt, credit card statement or other proof of purchase, if within the warranty period. 3. Include a brief note explaining the problem. Be sure you write your name, address and telephone number clearly. 4. Also enclose your credit card number and expiration date, check or money order payable to: For The Birds for the sum of $7. DO NOT send cash. 5. Send it prepaid to: For The Birds, Factory Service Dept, 1209A Stamp Creek Rd., Salem, SC 29676 NOTE: This warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed. It does not cover: 1) products which have been damaged by negligence, misuse or accident or which have been modified or repaired by unauthorized persons; 2) cracked or broken units or ones damaged by excess heat; 3) the cost of shipping this product to the factory for service and its return to you. ThIs warranty is valid only in the United States of America. Any applicable implied warranties are also limited to one year, and For The Birds will NOT be liable for consequential damages.
